AAWP is pleased to announce their 2022-2023 scholarship recipients! Each has had stellar academic performance during their training thus far and key leadership involvement is sure to serve them and the profession well in the future. See below for a few highlights of each honoree!
Jannani Krishnan, BS – SMU
Furman Memorial Scholarship
Student Doctor Krishnan holds a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis. She was her student chapter Secretary, and participated in planning and executing a multitude of programming and events. Exhibiting her interest in, and dedication to, biomechanics and sports medicine, she has conducted research in the field of race walking.
Camray Brenner, BS, MA – DMU
Founders’ Scholarship
Student Doctor Brenner holds a BS in Medical Biology, a BA in Spanish, and an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of South Dakota. She was Secretary of her student chapter of AAWP, and held multiple responsibilities related to finance, leadership, and recruitment.
Katherine Gutierrez, BS – Western
Founders’ Scholarship
Student Doctor Gutierrez holds a BS In Psychology from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She was her student chapter’s Vice President and was part of multiple clinical and recruitment projects.
