The Executive Board is pleased to announce that the next AAWP Scientific Conference will be held at The Omni Amelia Island Resort in beautiful Fernandina Beach, Florida.
Located on 1,350 acres at the tip of a barrier island off the Florida coast, this relaxing oceanfront property offers beautiful oceanfront accommodations with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, world-class resort pools, tennis courts, championship golf, and full service salon and spa. Adventure abounds in this idyllic destination to include walking along 3.5 miles of pristine beach, kayaking through Amelia Island’s preserved marshlands, using the tennis courts, or teeing off on one of the award-winning golf courses.
The conference will be held Thursday, April 28th to May 1st, 2022. Registration will open July 19, 2021. The schedule of events and lectures is currently being planned to allow for more spa time, shopping, golfing, or other relaxing activities on the resort. Joint Providership
The 2022 Meeting of American Association for Women Podiatrists (AAWP) is a joint providership activity with the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association (VPMA). This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the standards and requirements for approval of providers of continuing education in podiatric medicine through a joint provider agreement between VPMA and the AAWP. The VPMA is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine. The VPMA has approved this activity for a maximum of 15 continuing education contact hours.
Hotel Reservations
Make sure to mention AAWP when booking your hotel rooms or villa. The group rate is $299 per night. Attendees must reserve their hotel rooms prior to Monday, March 28th, 2022 to take advantage of the group rate.

While many rates have flexible cancellation policies, there are some rates which are non-refundable.
